Food Enhancements expands Minecraft’s food and cooking options with vanilla-friendly recipes made mostly from existing items, without adding crops, alongside a few drops from mobs. Its foods range from simple preparations such as boiled and fried eggs, toast, grated carrot and carrot salad to fruit bowls, sweet berry pie, golden berries, pumpkin soup, mashed potatoes, and cake slices. Cooking and mob drops add further ingredients and dishes, including spider and cave spider legs that can be cooked into soup, bat wings and bat soup, squid tentacles, illager flesh, fish fillets and fish soup, and honey-roast chicken and seasoned pork. The mod also adds drinks such as sweet berry wine, apple cider, chorus juice, cactus sap, melon and pumpkin juice, and bottled milk and chocolate milk, plus supporting items including gelatin, fish bones, and a bowl of water. Recipes give familiar ingredients new uses: for example, pumpkin seeds can be roasted and combined with pumpkin to make soup, while fish bones can be turned into fish stock for fish soup.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.4 to 1.19.2.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Replaces 7 of vanilla Minecraft's loot tables and 1 recipe.
No harmful code found in the parts we could check
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.4 to 1.19.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
6 of its files cannot be checked: its author does not let other sites download them from CurseForge.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends, in the 2 of its 8 files we read
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.4 to 1.19.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
