A performance mod that helps your game run more smoothly.
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
FPSFlow is a client-side Fabric mod that improves Minecraft performance by reducing rendering work, with four profiles ranging from Quality to Ultra Performance and individually configurable features. It culls entities outside the camera view, behind solid blocks, or beyond a chosen distance, and reduces the update rate for distant entities while keeping server NPCs and entities near nameplates fully rendered. Other visual optimizations hide distant name tags and block entities such as chests, furnaces, signs, banners, and item frames; limit particle counts and density by distance; and skip paintings viewed from behind. A background frame-rate limiter applies when the game window is unfocused or minimized, while the world-join optimizer gradually increases culling after joining to ease the initial performance spike. In singleplayer, more aggressive adaptive culling frees CPU capacity for chunk generation, and hotbar caching and HUD throttling reduce interface rendering work while responding to actual stat changes. Settings can be customized through the configuration, and FPSFlow automatically disables overlapping culling or HUD optimizations when it detects compatible mods such as EntityCulling or ImmediatelyFast.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 2 areas: Rendering and graphicsChanges 6 game code files in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen. and User interfaceChanges 1 game code file in this area: menus, screens, tooltips, the chat window and the in-game overlay..
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
We read its code without running it: it contacts 1 web address while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
The author declares on Modrinth that it shows advertisements.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code, text and assets
The author declares AI code, assets and text on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
