Fungal Infection Spore: MINI additions is an addon for Fungal Infection: Spore that expands its infection-focused gameplay with new mechanics, combat options, and mod integrations. Its compatibility recipes connect Spore content with Create and Farmer’s Delight, while Better Combat gives weapons extra range and Incendium weapons gain special abilities against Spore creatures. Biomass towers and outpost watchers have been redesigned, with watchers now appearing as larger fortress-like structures; breaking biomass lumps and reconstructed minds can also yield loot. The infection develops through evolving threats: at seven evolution points, eligible evolved mobs become overcharged, gaining stronger stats, blood particles, and a special ability, while calamities become overcharged after 150 kills and take on a blackened appearance with a bloody aura. Protos can spread mounds across a wide area, spawn gastgabers and vigils, and launch five raid types: dawn, noon, night, midnight, and eclipse; a proto hivemind left alive long enough can create a fungal fortress. Infection can spread into water as mounds turn nearby surface water into crusted bile, and gastgabers can create mounds and biomass lumps as well as convert nearby water, though they eventually die. Evolved and hyperevolved mobs can suffer hunger, and basic infected can relieve it by eating biomass bulbs or corpses; overcharged phayres, for example, can strengthen the mob they are carrying. The addon also adds powerful weapons made with reforged biomass, recipes for special anti-infection items such as a freezing sword and bow, and a new way to spread CDU units to remove infection.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 2 structures: Lab1 and Tower; 255 recipes, 36 advancements and 2 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
