Gadgets n' Goodies adds a broad collection of craftable gadgets and equipment for combat, movement, exploration, mining, and playful interactions, rather than following a single theme. Combat tools include a Fireball Dispenser that fires ghast-style fireballs using Fire Charges, with adjustable strength, a rapid-fire Egg Dispenser, a coal-powered Flame Thrower, a portable TNT Cannon, and a Freeze Ray that traps entities in temporary ice. For movement, the Grappling Hook pulls you toward blocks within its 32-block range, the Jetpack provides coal-fueled flight when you wear head protection, the Hang Glider offers different descent speeds and fall-damage behavior, and Spring Boots let successive jumps reach up to four times normal height. Other utility gadgets include a Water Gun that can extinguish fires, help crops grow, and be refilled from water, plus a Block-o-Copter that launches blocks and entities, including TNT that explodes in midair. The Mine-o-Saur is a repairable robot dinosaur that mines ores, can use pickaxe enchantments, and must be collected manually to retrieve its drops; a Remote Control can also make it drop as an item or remotely activate linked cannons, dispensers, droppers, levers, buttons, TNT, and Creepers. A four-piece Diving Suit supports underwater exploration: its helmet improves underwater vision, the Aqualung enables breathing when paired with the helmet, the Wetsuit protects against Guardian damage, and the Flippers speed swimming while slowing movement on land. A Musical Instrument plays different notes according to how far you look up or down, across two octaves.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
Modpacks that include Gadgets n' Goodies Mod in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. None is for a recent Minecraft version. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
