    About

    Galactic Create is a Create addon for engineering and exploring beyond the Overworld, with spacecraft, inter-dimensional travel, alien environments, and machinery for processing resources from space. Its five dimensions include the cratered, low-gravity Moon; Mars, with red-rock canyons and unbreathable carbon dioxide; Kepler, an alien jungle with toxic spores; an Asteroid Belt of floating, ore-rich rocks; and a Gas Giant with cloud islands and rare gases. Travel requires a Space Suit and Oxygen Tank, and the custom atmosphere and gravity systems make survival and movement differ between environments. Players build spacecraft from Create contraptions, fit them with a Spacecraft Command Pod, and use a powered Warp Drive Flywheel and an interactive Star Map to launch and chart routes to other planets. For travel between established colonies, players can build 5-by-5 Jump Gate portals from Void Steel and link them with Star Charts. The Galactic Centrifuge processes alien ores into exotic alloys, while the Atmospheric Compressor extracts gases to produce Liquid Oxygen and Rocket Propellant. Alien life includes burrowing Grubs, hostile Crawlers that guard ancient ruins, and rare Wanderer traders; a tameable Robot Companion can gather items and connect directly with Create conveyor belts.
