Gizmos is a playful collection of Minecraft gadgets for explosives, item handling, movement, building, and world interaction. Its explosives include gravity bombs that fall before detonating, excavator bombs that keep falling and exploding for a limited lifespan, time bombs that create primed TNT when their configurable fuse expires, and fork bombs that spread to adjacent open spaces when clicked. The inserter hides a tool or other non-stacking item inside another item, while the build tool can use the inserted item’s right-click action and also works on blocks like a diamond pickaxe. Inven-swappers let players quickly transfer inventory by standing on them and sneaking, with paired blocks indicating the direction items will move. Other devices accelerate entities in their current direction or launch them upward, and the temporal dislocator pulls a block’s future state into the present. The telekinesis catalyst lets players activate a block through intervening air, the fire extinguisher puts out fires and can kill blazes, and dynamic wool changes colour with redstone signal strength. Gizmos also allows nether portals to be built in any size or shape, beyond the usual rectangular forms.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.6.2 to 1.7.10.
Adds 13 blocks, 19 items and 2 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.6.2 to 1.7.10.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.6.2 to 1.7.10.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
