A goofy mod with cartoon-style antics for players and mobs.

Goofy Goober is a lighthearted mod that brings cartoon slapstick to singleplayer and multiplayer worlds. Stepping on sweet berry bushes, magma blocks, cacti, fire, lava, or stalagmites launches most mobs into the air, while falls, iron golem attacks, anvils, and other impacts can flatten or squash players and mobs with effects that visibly alter their shape. Its other comic effects include villagers and players snoring in their sleep, panicking mobs making skedaddling noises, and teeth-chattering when exposed to powder snow without leather armor. Players can eat up to a stack of food in one bite; eating multiple items can make them comically fat, and low hunger can make every living entity appear as a slab of steak. Skedaddling makes the player run in place before bursting into a faster sprint, and sneaking during the dash triggers a devious walk; crashing into a wall can flatten the player. Fights between mobs produce clouds of dust and goofy sounds, while being near at least three hostile mobs can trigger a chaotic encounter by summoning five more, including wither skeletons, spiders, cave spiders, large slimes or magma cubes, polar bears, and zombified piglins.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 1 item, 1 entity, 14 sounds and 1 key binding.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
