About
Guntopia Legend of the Guns adds an RPG-style firearms and equipment system to Minecraft, with nine custom guns, two swords, and two sets of armor rendered with custom 3D models and sounds. The guns include a submachine gun, semi-automatic pistol, revolver, pump and double-barrel shotguns, launcher, bolt-action rifle, auto shotgun, and assault rifle; weapons have distinct firing and reload behavior, can use magazines, and can be upgraded. Players can change gun and armor styles, including black, gold, and camouflage looks, and equip effects that alter attacks or provide defense, with equipment supporting up to eight effects. Effects can change what happens to creatures and blocks: shots can ignite TNT or set objects on fire, freeze water, activate levers, illuminate areas, or teleport an animal, while combinations may strengthen, cancel, or otherwise change their results. Progression uses player levels and GP, earned through kills and special tasks to buy items from a vending machine, while effects gain AP and become stronger as they level up. The mod also includes a steel foundry for producing steel and high-carbon steel, along with tools for modifying weapons and extracting effects; specialized extraction tools preserve the item they are used on.
