Handmade Guns Overdrive is an expanded firearms framework for building configurable combat and survival experiences, with weapons and related content supplied by the mod and optional content packs rather than a single fixed roster. Its weapons span pistols, rifles, machine guns, shotguns, launchers and vehicle ordnance, with examples including the M-16, Barrett .50 BMG, Dragunov, RPK-74, AKS-74U and Makarov. The firearm systems cover semi-automatic, burst and automatic fire, multiple ammunition and magazine types, attachments, selectable fire modes, zeroing, recoil, aiming, weapon weight and mobility, and specialized reloads. Beyond conventional bullets, packs can provide armor-piercing and fragmentation rounds, rockets, grenades, incendiaries, lasers and torpedoes; explosive damage, block destruction, distance falloff and cover behavior are configurable. Weapons can be crafted and integrated into survival progression through ammunition production, industrial materials, custom recipes and the Gun Smithing Table, while content packs can add or override definitions and resources. For presentation, the mod imports animated Blockbench projects directly and supports existing OBJ, MQO, AddParts and legacy HMG weapons, with animations for actions such as firing, reloading, inspection and moving weapon parts. Weapons may also be mounted or placed, and servers can manage ammunition and reload rules, dropped-gun pickup, balance settings and a global infinite-ammunition option. The framework includes integrations for combat and immersion mods such as MCHeli, Combatives, Real First Person 2, Flan’s armor systems, Guide-API, LittleMaidMobX and GVC/WW2 ecosystem mods.
Written from Modrinth , CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
We read its code without running it: it contacts 1 web address while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. None is for a recent Minecraft version. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 12 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 3 points.
