    About

    Hybrid Flowers adds a bee-driven breeding system that lets players grow hybrid flowers that do not appear naturally. When a bee pollinates a normally planted flower, it produces seeds based on nearby flowers of the same variety within a five-block radius; having at least eight valid flowers yields two seeds, and at least sixteen yields three. Each seed is chosen independently from possible results, with crosses between different flower colors generally more likely to produce a new color than crosses between matching colors, though not every combination can yield differently colored offspring. Planting the seeds in tilled soil reveals their color, and nearby potted flowers or fully grown flower crops can also take part in a cross. The mod also adds poppyseed bagels and muffins, while an optional texture pack gives flowers a bushier appearance. For players using Create, separate crushing and grinding recipes for the custom flowers are available through Create Tweaker scripts.
