About
Kreezxil's Compressed Blocks helps reduce storage pressure by letting you turn surplus blocks and items into compact, higher-tier versions through crafting. In the documented compression chains, nine base items make the first compressed tier, and nine blocks of one tier make the next; examples include cobblestone and ender pearls. As compressed blocks rise through the tiers, they become harder to mine and more resistant to explosions, with stronger tools needed for later tiers. Coal compression also adds a fuel-storage progression: older chains scale fuel output by ten per tier and can yield diamonds beyond the fourth tier, while the later documented set includes compressed and double-compressed coal blocks with burn times of 144,000 and 1,296,000. The blocks use recurring binary-style visual patterns that can be arranged to encode messages on walls as well as identify compression levels.
