LanteaCraft brings Stargate-inspired technology and exploration to Minecraft, centered on building seven-by-seven Stargates, discovering their addresses, dialing other gates with a nearby Dial Home Device, and traveling through the event horizon. Gates come in Milky Way, Nox, Wraith, and Pegasus variants, with animated dialing, illuminated chevrons, a rendered event horizon, and configurable timeout, incoming travel, and opening effects. Gate travel connects dimensions and preserves an entity’s relative position while adjusting its facing and velocity to suit the destination; separate Transport Rings move entities between nearby rings in the same chunk. Address tablets and rare generated gate sites give players destinations to discover, including village sites with a complete gate, matching DHD, and custom platform. The Abydos dimension features a permanent Stargate installation on a sandstone platform beside a pyramid, Goa’uld soldiers and patrols, and custom ambient music. Expeditions provide procedurally assembled trial locations reached with Expedition Address Tablets, with persistent addresses and generated layouts. The mod adds Naquadah and Trinium ores and materials, crystals used in crafting gate components, and Transport Rings; its Naquadah Generator burns Naquadah to produce Forge Energy, while Energy Crystals and Zero Point Modules store power for connected gates and devices. Optional ComputerCraft and OpenComputers integrations let computers monitor and control gates, receive gate-activity events, and send wireless messages through active wormholes.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: User interfaceChanges 1 game code file in this area: menus, screens, tooltips, the chat window and the in-game overlay..
Adds 47 blocks, 32 items, 2 mobs, 1 projectile, 1 other entity, 3 dimensions, 1 enchantment, 28 paintings, 35 recipes, 1 loot table and 27 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its sound
Suno is named in the sound files in its files.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
