About
Laser's Additions expands Cobblemon battles by giving vanilla Pokémon custom moves from Laser's Fakemon Pack and making extensive changes to existing moves, abilities, and Pokémon movesets. It adds a large collection of original moves and abilities, including attacks such as Void Fog, Crystal Hammer, and Light Pulse, and abilities such as Teleporter, Gravity Field, and Pastel Power. New move categories for kicking, throwing, hammer, beam, and light attacks give the battle system additional move classifications. The project also reworks many familiar moves and abilities, and introduces items such as Wonder Seed and Fairy Bottle that can interact with moves in distinctive ways. For example, Conjuring Fire can trigger different effects depending on the held item, ranging from setting weather or screens to inflicting status conditions or healing its user. Other additions include a Sandstorm form for Castform and replacing Freeze with Frostbite, a special-damage status modeled on Burn. The included SimpleTMs configuration for the datapack version makes selected new moves available as TMs.
