Survive as an undead, kindle bonfires, and fight roaming Hollows.

MC: Dark Souls brings Dark Souls-inspired undead survival and combat to Minecraft, making the player an undead branded with the Darksign who does not need to eat but cannot regenerate health naturally. Players can kindle Bonfires in ruins, use them as healing and travel points, and risk losing their souls and humanity when returning to the last rested-at Bonfire with the Darksign; a Homeward Bone offers a similar return without that loss. Estus Flasks store Bonfire flames for healing, can be upgraded to hold more charges with Estus Shards, and gain stronger healing from Undead Bone Shards used at a Bonfire. Hollows roam the world and can rarely drop Estus Shards, while Fire Keeper Souls can be used to craft Estus Flasks or consumed to restore health and grant humanity. Humanity provides another means of recovery: consuming it grants one humanity and fully heals the player. The mod also adds Miracles, obtained using a Talisman and Miracle Scroll, with most available from a merchant and some requiring special conditions. Its weapon combat includes Dark Souls-style movesets for weapons such as swords, axes, spears, daggers, hammers, and shields. Datapacks let content creators define custom weapon movesets and animations, including attack sequences for light, heavy, dash, and backstab actions.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.18.2.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 11 blocks, 57 items, 8 mobs, 2 projectiles, 3 other entities, 5 structures, 18 recipes, 10 advancements, 8 loot tables, 36 sounds and 8 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 2 of vanilla Minecraft's mob and entity textures and 1 interface texture.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.18.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.18.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
