MCS Ender Dragon expands the End with a more dynamic Ender Dragon fight, revised mob behavior, and additional End-themed encounters and mechanics, with features configurable through gamerules. The dragon summons glowing crystals with distinct effects: yellow crystals heal it, purple crystals reduce incoming damage and resist knockback, red crystals burn nearby entities, blue crystals slow and teleport enemies, gold crystals call lightning, and aqua crystals inflict blindness and levitation. As the fight progresses, the dragon can fire end-pearl and homing end-eye projectiles, heal and teleport with a powerful attack, grow more aggressive at low health, and apply wither and slowness through its breath; it also gains a purple aura while landing on the portal. Other End encounters include Dragon Hunters, who pursue players, phantoms, and dragons, fly with elytra, and may call down a homing purple fireball, as well as End Guardians that fly and teleport and fire levitating beams. Endermen interact with chorus plants and fruit: they can pick up and eat chorus fruit to regenerate, sometimes craft a chorus flower from four fruit while on end stone, teleport more frequently, and occasionally summon an endermite or teleport their target. The End also features naturally spawning phantoms, silverfish, Dragon Hunters, End Guardians, and Camouflage Shulkers; the shulkers can hide inside blocks, heal while hidden, and burst out to damage and launch nearby hostile entities. Phantoms have improved targeting and become larger and stronger as a player's insomnia rises, while cats and ocelots can sometimes scare nearby phantoms away. The project also changes utility mechanics: Ender Eyes work in every dimension and can deter nearby phantoms and endermen, and the Overworld and End are linked by high-altitude and void travel routes. Elytra durability loss varies with flight speed, durability is displayed while flying, and the wings can be repaired with phantom membranes; Mending repairs them while the player is not flying and draws experience from inventory.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 1 recipe, 4 advancements and 17 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
