About
Mercenaries and Artificers adds a mercenary-themed arsenal of weapons, skill sets, armor, gadgets, and magical explosives for players who favor either combat or invention. Its Repeating Crossbow trades a longer loading time for rapid arrow fire, while the Rifle fires a single shot using Flame Metal Jackets and deals more damage when held for longer. Players can craft the Mercenary’s Missive for single-target damage, subterfuge, and dirty tactics, or the Siege Plans for abilities such as raining flame projectiles, deploying mortar turrets, and boosting ranged damage. The mod also offers three types of magical explosives: traps that attach to surfaces and trigger when walked over, mines that attach to surfaces and trigger when detonated, and impact-activated thrown bombs. An explosives blueprint can be enchanted at a Spell Binding Table with spells that activate when an explosive goes off.
