Metalmith expands Minecraft’s gear and crafting options by creating new alloys from vanilla materials, without adding new minerals. It adds copper weapons, tools, armor, and nuggets, with copper gear positioned between stone or leather and iron; copper can also substitute for iron in some recipes. Three further materials provide upgrade paths for existing gear: Silicon Bronze is made from copper and diorite, Vein Gold from gold and Nether Quartz, and Flam Iron from iron, obsidian, and a magma block, with each raw material smelted in a Blast Furnace and gear upgraded at a Smithing Table without a template. Their properties differ: Silicon Bronze gear is stronger than iron but weaker than diamond and can replace iron in recipes for rails, minecarts, and cauldrons, producing double output; Vein Gold gear retains gold-like qualities with improved durability, while its armor also has greater toughness and pacifies Piglins; Flam Iron gear matches diamond gear’s attributes with greater durability. Silicon Bronze, Vein Gold, and Flam Iron gear can be repaired with copper, gold, and iron ingots respectively. With MineColonies installed, Blacksmiths and Mechanics can use copper and Silicon Bronze in place of iron for recipes, and Blacksmiths learn the added material recipes as they advance in level. The mod also replaces vanilla and MineColonies armor textures to give them a unified visual style.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
