The Core-Mod for the Create: Milkyway modpack
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
Milkyway Core supplies items, blocks, fluids, recipe changes, and gameplay tweaks for the Create: Milkyway modpack, a progression-focused modpack that began as a small modded Minecraft server. Its progression is organized around mechanisms, from Basic and Copper through Precision, Seared, Scorched, Cobalt, Refined, Logic, and Manyullyn, which gate access to machinery and other content; some branches, such as Seared and Logic, are optional. The mechanisms unlock Create machinery and tools including the Millstone, Mechanical Saw, Mechanical Mixer, Mechanical Press, Mechanical Drill, Mechanical Arm, trains, and Steam Engine, alongside Tinkers’ Construct equipment such as the Smeltery and Foundry. Metalworking is reshaped around melting and alloying: ores are processed in a Seared Melter, while alloys can be made with a Mechanical Mixer or, later, a Scorched Alloyer or Smeltery. Crushing Wheels can yield extra metal byproducts, crush minerals such as coal and sulfur into Rocky Crushed Ore for washing, and further process crushed ores into dusts for melting or smelting. The mod also supports passive resource gathering through processes such as washing gravel for iron or soul sand for gold and quartz, and crushing Scoria, Scorchia, Jasper, and Limestone for additional metals. A custom soaking recipe type lets players drop an item into a specified fluid to produce a result, with recipes able to define whether the fluid is consumed and whether it must be a source block.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.18.2.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 21 blocks, 457 items, 3 structures, 766 recipes, 11 advancements and 4 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 1 of vanilla Minecraft's models.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.18.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.18.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
