Mindthemood's Bits, Bobs, & Buildings expands Minecraft's archaeology into a broader set of connected exploration, crafting, combat, and structure-rework features. Players excavate suspicious dirt, stone, netherrack, and deepslate with brushes, carefully removing layers to uncover loot shaped by the block's location and how precisely it is excavated. Excavation and exploration uncover materials for crafting gadgets, pottery, music discs, and equipment, including daggers, throwable spears, elemental charges, trinkets, and potion-themed totems. The weapons have distinct behaviors: daggers can trade durability for a powerful jumping strike, while copper spears can age into stronger oxidized forms and lightning variants can call down lightning in storms. Totems provide effects such as brief hovering, invisibility after taking damage, or poisoning nearby mobs, and can be dual wielded; trinkets offer smaller inventory-based benefits that can be combined or amplified. The mod overhauls many familiar structures, including woodland mansions, dungeons, jungle temples, desert pyramids, witch huts, igloos, ruined portals, shipwrecks, pillager outposts, villages, ocean ruins, trail ruins, ocean monuments, and mineshafts. These structures feature varied layouts, biome-specific appearances, secrets, traps, puzzles, and loot: for example, mansions have randomized rooms and increasingly tough enemies, while jungle temples and pyramids challenge explorers with redstone puzzles, hazards, and hidden treasure. Other additions include copper golems that defend villages, golem-filled outpost cages, and newly arranged village buildings, farms, and occasional gravesites that can hold archaeological finds. Exploration also yields vessel pieces for crafting totems and disc fragments that can be assembled into music discs.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Replaces 64 of vanilla Minecraft's item textures, 51 block textures, 45 mob and entity textures, 16 world generation files, 14 recipes, 13 loot tables, 1 sky, weather or particle texture and 1 model.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
