Minecraft: New Vegas is a Fallout: New Vegas-inspired mod made for a multiplayer server, bringing the Mojave Wasteland into Minecraft rather than aiming for ordinary singleplayer play. It recreates the Fallout: New Vegas map and supplies themed guns, ammunition, armor, melee weapons, explosives, medicine and chems, food, currency, tools, blocks, posters, backpacks, and other scavenged items. Combat includes aiming down gun sights, while animated vault doors and interactive firearms help bring the setting’s equipment and locations to life. The intended server experience encourages players to build a role in the wastes, whether as an NCR soldier, caravanner, gambler, scavenger, repairman, survivor, or raider leader, and to barter, steal, and cooperate to survive threats such as dangerous wildlife.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.18.2.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 1,019 blocks, 851 items, 145 entities, 1 dimension, at least 21 recipes, at least 37 loot tables, 319 sounds and 12 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found in the parts we could check
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.18.2.
We checked its files without running them.
One of its files cannot be checked: its author does not let other sites download it from CurseForge.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We have not read its code yet
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.18.2.
The file checks found no code that connects to the internet.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
Modpacks that include Minecraft: New Vegas in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. None is for a recent Minecraft version. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 3 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
