About
Minehop replaces Minecraft’s default movement, including ladder movement, with a system inspired by Counter-Strike: Source strafing and bhop mechanics for parkour. Its HUD can display speed, strafe efficiency, and SSJ, while a nanosecond timer with server-side validation records personal and world-best times. For bhop servers, Minehop provides configurable movement settings, map management and teleportation, and tools for creating start, reset, and end zones with checkpoints. Players can review saved world-record replays, spectate players or replays, and use invisible, configurable booster pads to build momentum. Maps can also be set up as free-for-all arenas with instagib guns or as hide-and-seek rounds with a randomly selected seeker and a three-minute timer. The official server includes maps such as bhop_bfur, bhop_nougat, bhop_tutorial, bhop_easy, and bhop_brick.
