Miner's Delight is a datapack that makes cave exploration and mining easier and partly automates resource gathering with new tools, utilities, and a controllable mining machine. Its Coal and Electric Drills mine a 4-by-4 area ahead: the Coal Drill consumes coal, while the Electric Drill recharges when held but not in use; both can also be used as weapons. The Mining Turtle moves forward while mining and collecting blocks, can be steered with a remote, and can be equipped with four modules for speed, durability, mining power, or fuel capacity; with upgrades, it can excavate entire mineshafts. For safer cave trips, the pack adds a Creeper Alarm that beeps more rapidly as a creeper approaches, throwable Glowsticks that attach to walls or floors as lights, and Rope Ladders that extend downward until they meet a block. Players can discover natural Ore Deposits, rocks containing coal, copper, or iron that generate in several overworld biome groups, including forests, mountains, savannas, taigas, and plains. A crafting-based advancement tree unlocks recipes as players make items, and the pack also adds breedable Snails for farming slimeballs and two music discs.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.20.5 to 1.21.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Replaces 7 of vanilla Minecraft's loot tables.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.20.5 to 1.21.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.20.5 to 1.21.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
