A classic creature mod, restored with fixes for old bugs.
28.5 of the 64 points that apply = 45 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Mo' Creatures Legacy restores the unfinished, bug-prone 1.7.10 edition of Mo' Creatures, fixing most reported bugs and completing unfinished features while adding achievements and multilingual support. It populates the world with insects, land animals, aquatic life, and hostile creatures, including fireflies, bears, big cats, elephants, ostriches, crocodiles, dolphins, sharks, wyverns, ogres, scorpions, and werewolves. Creatures appear in different environments: for example, pandas and tigers inhabit jungles, mammoths and polar bears are found in snowy biomes, and wyverns spawn in the Wyvern Dimension. The mod includes creature interactions such as taming and feeding, riding some animals, hatching eggs, and caring for kitties with beds; achievements accompany the added creature content. Entity textures were overhauled using modified 16x Mo' Creatures textures, and the restoration also improves existing features such as weapons and kitty beds. Built-in integrations add Thaumcraft aspects for entities, blocks, and obtainable items, connect creature spawns to biome mods such as Biomes O' Plenty and Highlands, and support taming foods or creature drops from mods including HarvestCraft, GregTech 6, and Et Futurum Requiem. It can also replace Witchery werewolves with Mo' Creatures forms through configuration, with entity replacements available in single-player and multiplayer and player-form replacements limited to single-player.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
Adds 120 items, 2 entities and 169 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
