Community-driven addon mod developed for ComputerCraft.
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
MoarPeripherals is a community-driven ComputerCraft addon that expands the peripherals available to computers and turtles, bringing back and improving selected ideas from MiscPeripherals while adding community-suggested features; its blocks and many settings are configurable. Its BitNet Communication Towers and smaller Mini Antennas let connected systems send messages over long distances, with towers also relaying messages automatically when no computer is attached. The ChatBox connects ComputerCraft programs to Minecraft chat, allowing public messages and private messages while raising events for received chat and player deaths. A Computer Controlled Crafter repeatedly crafts a configured item pattern from stored resources and can report details about items in its inventory. The Firework Launcher can craft stars and rockets and launch them, and the included StarCaster program builds and runs shows with adjustable effects, timing, and finale mode. Iron Note Blocks can play any of five instruments on demand, including chords, and the included Note program can browse and play musical NBS files. Paired keyboards let users operate a computer or turtle from a nearby position without covering an external monitor with the terminal, while a Player Detector sends an event when someone right-clicks it. Other additions include a turtle teleporter that spends fuel according to travel distance, a Density Scanner that surveys a ten-by-ten area up to forty blocks below, and a solar panel that recharges a turtle in bright natural light. Turtles can also use ChatBox and Iron Note Block peripherals, extending chat and music functions to mobile systems.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.6.4 to 1.7.10.
Adds 16 blocks, 6 items and 1 sound.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.6.4 to 1.7.10.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.6.4 to 1.7.10.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
