Mo'Dogs expands Minecraft’s dog-raising experience with 50 naturally spawning, tamable breeds that are separate from vanilla wolves, ranging from tiny dachshunds to large mastiffs. Explore different biomes to find breeds such as Alaskan Malamutes in cold regions, Dalmatians in savannas, and Dachshunds in taiga biomes; each breed is tamed with one or two specific treats made from meat or salmon and wheat. Dogs have randomized genetics that influence their coats and patterns, and breeding can pass traits from parents to pups, making offspring appearances vary. Use the Gene Tester or Geno Reader to examine a dog’s traits and genotype, and a Geno Printer to preserve its genetic code on paper. Care for and customize tamed dogs with colored collars, which can be upgraded into protective armor, and use healing treats when they are injured. Villages may contain dog shelters with dogs, treats, collars, and a Care Station; villagers can become Shelter Workers who trade dog treats and collars. Players can tame and breed every breed, with breed-specific advancements for both activities. GeckoLib is required, while Patchouli is optional and adds in-game guides to finding, taming, and understanding the genetics of the breeds.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 2 blocks, 157 items, 50 entities, 208 recipes, 115 advancements and 154 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
