A Monster Hunter mod, but without the hunting! Discover and collect baby monsters!
24.5 of the 64 points that apply = 38 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Monstie Hunter: Baby Monster Collector! is about finding and befriending baby Monster Hunter creatures in the Minecraft world rather than hunting them. The roster includes Tigrex and Brute Tigrex in dry biomes; Rathalos variants in plains, savannas and windswept areas; Barioth in snowy biomes; and Odogaron variants in cherry groves, meadows and soul sand valleys. You can also encounter Tobi-Kadachi and Yian Kut-Ku variants in forests and jungles, while Nargacuga variants appear in darkness or at night; Gore Magala likewise favors dark areas and can be transformed into Shagaru Magala with a Totem of Undying. Befriending uses creature-specific foods: examples include meat for many monsters, beef and bones for Odogaron, and honeycomb with tropical fish for Yian Kut-Ku. Baby Seikrets can be befriended with seeds, and feeding one a golden carrot makes it grow into a rideable Seikret; adult Seikrets can also be befriended with seeds.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
