    About

    More Carpets adds around 240 decorative carpets whose textures are taken from their corresponding vanilla Minecraft blocks, so resource packs can change them as they do other block textures. To make them, craft a Carpet Frame using any vanilla carpet, then combine the frame with the block whose texture you want; each crafting yields four carpets. Examples include magma block, diamond block, gilded blackstone, and glass carpets, with glass available in different types. Some carpets emit light like their source blocks, glass carpets can change a beacon beam's color, and glazed terracotta carpets are directional for arranging familiar 2×2 patterns. Special recipes are used for Fire, Soul Fire, Lava, Nether Portal, and Strange carpets, the last of which has no texture.
