Adds 30+ types of quicksand and more.

More Fun Quicksand Mod turns quicksand into a varied world hazard, adding more than 30 naturally generating types that can be individually disabled in the configuration. Examples include Tar, Wet Peat, Mineral Clay, Moor, Dense Webbing, Tar Slime, and Fleshy Pit, with each type having its own texture, sounds, generation, and physics. Their behavior differs through thickness, which affects sinking speed; viscosity, which slows horizontal movement; suction, which makes escape harder; and solidity, which determines whether the surface can support a player. Movement and equipment matter: struggling or moving can pull players deeper, while carried and worn items add weight, and jumping out of shallow quicksand can lead to a deeper landing. To explore and escape, players can probe the ground with a Long Stick, wear Wading Boots or a Life Jacket, and use Ropes or Grappling Hooks to get free or rescue others. The mod also adds four Slime mobs and Desert Tombs, where useful loot lies among dangerous traps. A switchable covering system makes players look dirty after contact with the different substances, and players can swim beneath quicksand without taking damage until they run out of breath.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
Adds 126 blocks, 41 items, 1 mob, 4 other entities and 2 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
