    About

    More Than A Pickaxe adds the Adze, a multitool for survival play that serves as a pickaxe, axe, sword, hoe, and shovel, so players can handle those tasks without switching tools. Adzes come in wood, stone, iron, gold, diamond, netherite, bronze, and titanium, with a steel version available when another mod supplies steel ingots; netherite Adzes are fireproof. Compatibility with other mods can add Adzes made from their materials, including emerald, obsidian, ruby, sapphire, amethyst, quartz, peridot, and gems such as topaz, citrine, tourmaline, and carbonado. Some integrations add distinctive abilities: Paradise Lost Adzes have corresponding special abilities, Gobber and Nether Adzes can fell whole trees or chop a single block while sneaking, and the Gobber End Adze shoots unlimited arrows and places unlimited torches. The mod also supports Better Combat axe-attack animations and is compatible with Galacticraft.
