About
More Vanilla Enchantments Levels extends the maximum levels of most existing vanilla enchantments, helping equipment keep pace with stronger threats in scaling-difficulty modpacks; it adds no new enchantments and is designed to pair especially well with Progressive Time Difficulty. Its extended caps include Unbreaking 12; Sharpness, Smite, Bane of Arthropods, Power, Impaling, Protection, and Efficiency 10; Looting, Fortune, Luck of the Sea, and Lure 7; and Depth Strider 8, alongside increases to Sweeping Edge, Knockback, Flame, Piercing, Feather Falling, Thorns, Respiration, Frost Walker, Soul Speed, Swift Sneak, Quick Charge, Loyalty, and Riptide. Enchanted books are provided for every added level in the Ingredients creative tab, while rebalanced enchanting-table costs make the first extended levels possible but increasingly rare, leaving anvil combining as the dependable route to the highest levels. The mod can run server-side while allowing players to join with a vanilla client.
