Necro-Rooted adds a spreading root parasite that threatens living mobs and gradually infects the world. The outbreak begins with Necro-Blossoms, which emerge from the ground in dark areas and release Necro-Spores that fly into targets, inflicting a Growing effect that can turn them into infected creatures or, if they have no infected variant, produce two more spores. Infected Necro-Rooted can evolve after getting three kills, and may merge with another infected creature to form a Necro-Befallen. Water is the infection’s key weakness: it harms Necro-Root beings and can clear the Growing effect, although Pure Water is needed to cure the effect during reproduction or pollination stages. The mod also adds infected piglins and ravagers, along with a Necro-Root woodset, fireproof wood items, and glowing and trap blocks; the trap variant damages entities standing on it. Necro-Root drops crafting scraps and Necro-Essence, which can be combined with a water bucket to make Pure Water that damages infected beings even during reproduction or pollination. Players can craft a Necro-Sword and a longer-reaching Necro-Blade, then soak them to create forms capable of damaging Necro-Root creatures; Pure Water is required for this during reproduction stages. A Necro-Grappling Gun made from sticky-root scraps lets players travel by grappling and pull entities toward them.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Not checked yet
Its author does not let other sites download its files from CurseForge, so we cannot check them.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We have not read its code yet
What it sends is not known yet.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and sounds yet.
AI in the game: not checked yet
We have not read its code for AI yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Modpacks that include Necro-Rooted! in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 3 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 1 point.
