New Weapons adds effect-granting items centered on a Red Crystal tool and armor set, including a Red Crystal sword, as well as a Red Crystal gem and a Yellow Heart gem. The mod includes 13 craftable Effect Orbs, each with a different effect, and an Ultimate Orb made from one of each Effect Orb that grants the same fixed set of nine effects. Red Crystal tools and armor can have any combination of the orb effects, and their descriptions list the effects they grant; the orbs themselves do not show their effects in a tooltip.
