Adds devices for farming ores.
68.1 of the 71 points that apply = 96 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
O.F.Device adds ore-farming machines that consume input materials and furnace-compatible fuel to produce blocks and ores over time. The main device accepts cobblestone, cobbled deepslate, or netherrack, with each material producing a different range of results: stone and coal, iron, copper, redstone, lapis, gold, emerald, and diamond ores from the first two, and nether brick, quartz ore, gold ore, or ancient debris from netherrack. Two upgrade tiers increase processing speed and unlock a broader selection of possible products, including rarer ores such as diamonds, emeralds, amethyst, and ancient debris. Using a stick changes the device’s casing, while hoppers can automate supplying materials and fuel and collecting products; items may also be ejected when the product slot fills. Nearby players or villagers within the device’s surrounding area can improve ore appearance rates, up to a limit of three, and the resulting product chances can be customized with data-pack loot tables. The mod also includes the OF C Device, a cobblestone generator whose output can be collected from below with a hopper, and reusable OF C Feeders that supply cobblestone or, at low altitudes, cobbled deepslate; Feeder I uses extra fuel, while Feeder II avoids that added consumption. An optional built-in data pack adds the recipe for Feeder T, a more efficient feeder usable with the second upgraded device.
Written from Modrinth , CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 4 blocks: OF C Device, OF Device, OF Device Mod 1 and OF Device Mod 2; 3 items: OF C Feeder I, OF C Feeder II and OF C Feeder T; 14 recipes and 11 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
