Cushions use fewer resources on your screen and server.
50.9 of the 58 points that apply = 88 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Optimized Cushions reduces the client rendering and server ticking overhead of cushions, which are static entities that can become costly when many are present. On the client, it bakes cushions into terrain meshes so they render like blocks, can be seen at full render distance, and use cushion textures from resource packs; this can also reduce rendering-related memory pressure. On the server, unoccupied cushions skip the usual entity tracking and tick list in favor of a lightweight loop, while cushions that are sat on or ridden return to the vanilla path. Sitting, riding, breaking, picking up, sounds, particles, drops, damage, and saves retain vanilla behavior, and the mod makes no protocol or save changes. It supports Sodium chunk meshes, and its client optimizations disable automatically when Optimised Block Entities is installed while server optimizations remain active. Because cushions are baked into terrain, visual changes such as placing, breaking, teleporting, or dyeing one appear after the relevant section rebuild, while server-side tracking checks may make cushions at the edge of a player's range appear slightly later than in vanilla.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code and text
The author declares AI code and text on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
