Plants vs Zombies: Reimagined brings PvZ-inspired combat content to Minecraft by turning plants into usable items, weapons, and armor rather than plant mobs, alongside new zombie opponents. Its plant roster spans ranged attackers, melee tools, defenses, support plants, and explosives: Peashooters fire ordinary, flaming, chilling, or multi-shot projectiles; Bonk Choy doubles as a pickaxe, axe, and shovel; Wall-nut can be worn as a helmet; and Cherry Bomb and Potato Mine provide explosive attacks. Other plants add distinctive effects, including Hypno Shroom taming custom zombies, Magnifying Grass using sun as ammunition, Cat Tail granting a brief speed boost, and Zoybean Pod summoning an ally to fight undead enemies. The mod adds themed dimensions and biomes, including an Ancient Egypt dimension, a Halloween forest with orange foliage and dark skies, a red-sand Wild West desert, and the Pirate Seas and Big Wave Beach ocean setting. These areas bring themed enemies and encounters, from mummies, Cleopatra, and Gargantuars in Egypt to cowboy zombies, pirate zombies, Neptuna, and the Deep Sea Gargantuar in ocean areas. Exploration can lead to structures such as the Temple of Ra, witch huts, pirate ships, and Neptuna’s Bowl, with some ships containing enemies and loot or providing plant-trading opportunities. Sun serves as currency for acquiring plants through Crazy Dave villager trades, while plant upgrades and combinations introduce stronger variants such as Spikerock and the high-damage Cob Cannon. Additional equipment and consumables include a Snorkel Mask for underwater breathing, a Pocket Dolphin that grants Dolphin’s Grace, and foods such as sushi and tacos.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 44 blocks, 188 items, 59 entities, 7 biomes, 4 dimensions, 45 recipes, 11 advancements and 38 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
