Plants vs. Zombies Squared brings the tower-defense gameplay of Plants vs. Zombies into Minecraft, where plants can be placed to fight zombies. Its plant roster includes Peashooters, Wall-nuts, Potato Mines, Snow Peas, Chompers, Repeaters, and mushrooms such as Puff, Sun, Hypno, Ice, and Doom Shrooms, with seed packets used to obtain plants. Plants appear in biomes associated with them, such as Sunflowers on plains and Peashooters in forests; they are initially hostile, but giving one a present may make it friendly, with rarer plants less likely to accept. Sunflowers sleep at night, while graves appear on lawn carpets early in the night and disappear during the day. The mod also includes a Zen Garden with planters, seeds, fertilizer, bug spray, a watering can, and gardening gloves, along with a lawnmower that can be used to cut grass. Players can configure whether plants target only forward or in any direction, whether placing plants consumes seed packets or sun in survival, and whether peas use a 2D or 3D model.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 53 blocks, 133 items, 53 entities, 1 structure, 3 paintings, 29 recipes, 3 advancements, 3 loot tables, 57 sounds and 4 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 1 of vanilla Minecraft's sky, weather and particle textures and 1 loot table.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
