About
PMWeather Aeronautics connects PMWeather’s wind and weather to Sable rigid bodies, including Create Aeronautics vehicles, making it a weather-physics integration rather than a system that moves contraptions along preset paths. Wind pressure acts across exposed parts of a contraption, so larger surfaces catch more force and uneven pressure can produce yaw, pitch, roll, or tumbling; strong winds and tornadoes can also apply vertical updrafts and downdrafts. Rudders, wings, propellers, and other aerodynamic parts receive local airflow, while balloon envelopes respond to pressure on the contraption’s exterior. The mod also includes conditional wind breakaway behavior for supported wheel and track contact paths, allowing sufficiently strong weather forces to overcome grip while preserving ordinary handling below that point. A live wind display and server weather-test sequences let players inspect wind and run staged flight or stress tests; the default flight sequence lasts four minutes.
