About
Pokecraft brings Pokémon into Minecraft, adding 42 species that appear in different biomes, including Pikachu, Eevee and Caterpie in forests, Vulpix in taiga, water Pokémon such as Magikarp and Squirtle near coasts and rivers, and Lapras in frozen oceans. Battles use a more direct approach than a turn-based RPG: provoke a Pokémon by hitting it, then send out your own Pokémon and click it to direct its attacks against the opponent. Many Pokémon evolve through fighting, while some require stones; for example, Eevee can become Jolteon, Flareon or Vaporeon with the corresponding Thunder, Fire or Water Stone. The mod adds two structures: a jungle temple that can appear at a 1% chance and contains loot, with a rock that summons the mythical Mew when clicked, and a Poké Ball structure that can provide the Flight or Surf MO depending on its location. Pidgeotto and Pidgeot can use Flight, while Lapras can use Surf. A Pokédex shows Pokémon crafting information, defeated Pokémon regenerate automatically, and several models, including Pikachu, Venusaur and Charizard, have been redesigned.
