Adds a block possessing spirit to the Origins mod.
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
Poltergeist is an Origins add-on that lets you play as a spirit possessing blocks, taking on their mining level, attack damage, armor, and sometimes special abilities instead of using tools or armor. It has spirit and possessed forms: as a spirit you can phase through blocks but cannot interact with the world, while possession gives you a corporeal form that can interact with it. Possession wears blocks down over time according to their material; when one breaks, it is lost and you need another block to possess. Distinctive block abilities include portable crafting from a crafting table, automatic smelting from a furnace, smoker, or blast furnace, and a dispenser that shoots held arrows. Other examples include a hopper that teleports nearby items to you, a netherite block that grants fire immunity, a dragon head that gives you elytra, and a beacon that grants stronger effects as more beacon base blocks are nearby. You can also use a brewing stand to gain potion effects from certain ingredients, or open storage with a chest, ender chest, or shulker box.

No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.19.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.19.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
