Adds naturally generating Dinosaurs to the Overworld.
37.2 of the 64 points that apply = 58 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Prehistoric Dinosaurs brings 13 naturally spawning prehistoric creatures to Overworld biomes, including dinosaurs such as the Ankylosaurus, Triceratops, Ceratosaurus, Tyrannosaurus and Bronto, as well as the pterosaur Dimorphodon, the fish Coelacanth and the invertebrates Trilobite and Meganeura. Their habitats range from forests, plains and warmer dry regions to swamps, caves and freshwater, with passive, neutral and hostile creatures among the roster. Creatures can be bred and interact with other entities; several larger species, including the Ankylosaurus, Triceratops, Ceratosaurus, Bronto and Tyrannosaurus, can also be ridden, while some small animals and aquatic species cannot be bred or ridden. Breeding uses species-specific foods and nesting spots: for example, Dodos eat wheat and lay eggs on dirt, Dimorphodons eat raw primal meat and nest on leaves, and Coelacanths use seeds and lay eggs underwater. The mod adds raw and cooked primal meat, Coelacanth and Megapiranha as food and breeding resources, with cooked versions able to grant effects such as strength, resistance or haste. Coelacanths and Megapiranhas can be caught with a fishing rod and carried in buckets, and their eggs can be placed in water. Fossils and gravity-affected Silt generate in the world, and an Extractor processes both to reveal fossil contents or obtain resources from Silt. Fossils also appear as decorative objects, including Trilobite, fern, amber, Tyrannosaurus-skull and Triceratops-skull fossils.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: Server and world logicChanges 1 game code file in this area: the world, commands, scoreboards, saved data and game rules..
Adds 24 blocks, 22 items, 14 mobs, 11 recipes, 13 loot tables and 16 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
