Productive Frogs is a resource-generation mod built around frogs hunting specially infused slimes: prime a slime with an item such as iron, copper, diamond, or prismarine, let its matching frog eat it, then smelt the resulting Froglight to recover the resource. Its six frog and slime families are tied to different environments: Bog frogs are associated with swamps, Cave frogs with caves, Geode frogs with mountain peaks, Tide frogs with oceans, Infernal frogs with the Nether, and Void frogs with the End, each producing Froglights for its own resource variants. Slime Milk from a Slime Milker can spawn more slimes of the same variant, while catalysts can make a placed milk source spawn more slimes, spawn them faster, produce more at once, or last indefinitely; the milker itself needs no power or pipes and can be fed and emptied with hoppers. For processing beyond furnace smelting, a Froglight Crucible melts water and lava variants into bucketable fluids and metal variants into molten metal, which a Casting Mold can turn back into ingots; lava and Blaze Froglights also provide heat, and the crucible can render stone into lava. Frogs have individual stats affecting how much they eat, how much they produce, and how far they reach, and breeding lets players combine and improve those traits; breeding can also be disabled for packs that want the basic production loop. For larger automated farms, the Terrarium is a sealed multiblock habitat that uses piped-in Slime Milk and sprinklers to supply slimes to frogs, then collects their Froglights for output. The later progression adds predator frogs that hunt real mobs for their drops, Apex Frogs, and buildable altars that summon and harvest the Wither, Ender Dragon, Warden, and Elder Guardian for their loot and experience. Froglights can also retain potion effects from the slime that produces them, allowing the effect to be placed as an aura, held, or worn.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 56 blocks, 62 items, 9 mobs, 5 other entities, 134 recipes, 12 advancements and 8 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
