New weapons and magic bring more choices to combat.

Project Dawn expands Minecraft’s adventure and combat with new weapon styles, magic, accessories, ranged weapons, and upgraded toolsets. Battleaxes deliver heavy knockback and can disable shields but lack sweeping attacks, while axeblades combine shield-breaking with a sword-like sweep; staffs and wands use experience to cast magic, and off-hand tomes cast with a right click. Its ranged options include repeaters inspired by dual crossbows, which shoot faster but deal less damage, and throwable blaze bombs that create small fiery explosions without damaging blocks. Magic weapons include effects such as the Nether Fork’s fiery blast, the Soulfire Staff’s cloud of wither and blindness, and the Evoker Fangs tome’s summoned rows of biting fangs. Accessories provide offensive, mana, or health benefits, from reducing magic-weapon experience costs to the Ravager Horn’s chance to roar and knock back nearby enemies when its wearer takes damage; they work from any inventory slot. Firebrand and Icebrand are post-Netherite toolsets with distinct effects: Firebrand sets mobs alight and resists burning in fire or lava, while Icebrand slows them. Exploration can uncover arcane crystals in caves, rubies in deserts, Molten Core in the Nether for Firebrand crafting, and rare enchanted sword shrines in caves, while chests and mob drops provide additional weapons and accessories. The project is retired, and its excerpts describe it as an early, testing-stage mod with bugs and some content still unattainable.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.14.4 to 1.16.4.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 6 blocks, 106 items, 9 projectiles, 2 other entities, 68 recipes, 8 loot tables and 4 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.14.4 to 1.16.4.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.14.4 to 1.16.4.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
