An island challenge where random blocks appear beside you.
52.4 of the 61 points that apply = 86 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Random Island is a skyblock datapack built around choosing a play mode and surviving on a small starting oak island as random blocks appear in a fixed area just beyond its edge. Once players select a mode beside the island, the game starts automatically, and the blocks refresh in a 6×3×3 area four blocks from the island. Refresh intervals vary with both player count and mode: casual mode ranges from 70 seconds for one player to 30 seconds for more than eight, while fast mode ranges from 30 seconds to 10 seconds for six or more players. A custom mode lets players set the refresh interval, defaulting to 90 seconds, and the refresh progress bar is shown only to players in the Overworld. Players can also obtain a lava bucket by smelting an iron block in a blast furnace for ten minutes of real time, equivalent to twelve in-game hours.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 9 structures and 1 recipe.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 1,116 of vanilla Minecraft's structures and 75 world generation files.
No harmful code found
We checked its files without running them.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends, in the 5 of its 7 files we read
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
