Every April Fool's Day snapshot, rolled up into one package!
26.5 of the 64 points that apply = 41 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Refooled brings together almost all of the content from Minecraft’s April Fools’ snapshots, re-creating their playful ideas as a collection of blocks, items, mobs, and other features. Its additions include Fake Water Blocks that drop Water Droplets, Ink Sac and Glow Ink Sac blocks that leave footprints when walked on, and Burnt-out Torches modeled on ordinary torches. You can build Pinkite Golems with Pinkite Rods, find rubies and ruby ore, and encounter Rana, Diamond Chickens, and Fool’s Horses. The mod also includes the Neither, with its own biomes and a nostalgic region where a long-lost friend can be found, as well as items such as the Potion of Sharing and Heartswords. A world-generation gamerule controls whether Refooled blocks and items generate naturally in the Overworld, and recipes are unlocked by default.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 137 blocks, 105 items, 22 mobs, 1 boat, 15 other entities, 24 biomes, 2 dimensions, 3 structures, 2 enchantments, 142 recipes, 5 advancements, 4 loot tables, 22 sounds and 1 key binding.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
