Resource Engineering adds a resource-processing progression in which players extract materials from ordinary blocks, refine raw gems and turn the resulting resources into tools, armor and machines. Its seven gems range from turquoise, with wood-like tools, through onyx, amethyst, citrine and emerald to ruby and rare sapphire; each has tools and armor, and refined-gem gear comes pre-enchanted. Emerald, ruby and sapphire can make hammers that mine 3×3×3, 5×5×5 and 7×7×7 areas respectively, while the Thor’s Hammer mines ores throughout a chunk and the upgraded Chunk Hammer mines the whole chunk. The Sifter processes dirt, gravel, sand, soul sand and their dense or loaded variants into drops such as gold and iron flakes and diamond chips; the Pressure Vessel uses blaze fuel to turn flakes into nuggets and chips into diamonds, and can recover materials from undamaged vanilla or Resource Engineering gear. The Gem Tumbler refines uncut gems using sand or gravel as grit, the Fracking Machine breaks cobblestone, netherrack, endstone and sandstone for hidden materials, and the Compressor converts stacks of several common blocks into dense variants. Chunk hammers can compact mined redstone, lapis, diamonds and coal into blocks; the Chunk Hammer also compacts common blocks, and dense blocks can be converted back at a rate of 64 ordinary blocks per dense block.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.2.
Adds 102 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
