    About

    Runecraft: The Barrows Brothers adds the six Barrows brothers from RuneScape as minibosses, each with a boss bar, alongside crypt creatures and swamp ghasts. To reach the brothers, players craft an Ancient Sigil, build a portal from Deepslate Bricks, and use the sigil to open it; the Barrows then generate at the portal’s spawn point. Exploring their burial chambers involves uncovering entrances beneath dirt-covered mounds, breaking reinforced blocks with Netherite tools, and finding Strange Old Lockpicks dropped by crypt creatures to open locked doors. Defeating the brothers rewards six armor sets and six unique weapons, with a Barrows Book that tracks individual kills and completed runs, plus drops ranging from Barrows equipment and food to ores, gems, Netherite-related items, and rare Nether Stars. A rare Amulet of the Damned can be combined with Barrows armor pieces to make slightly stronger, more durable Damned versions. The mod also adds ghasts and Deadly Swamp Ghasts, which can drop Fine Cloth, and Filliman Tarlock, a swamp-dwelling character who trades an Iron Sickle for cake and upgrades sickles using a ghast tear or gold ingot. Splitbark armor is crafted from materials gathered in Morytania swamps, while Morytania Initiate armor upgrades it with Barrows Cloth; both sets provide extra damage against the brothers and swamp ghasts, with the Initiate set granting a stronger bonus against the brothers.
