About
SCP-027, the Vermin God, brings an SCP-inspired infestation curse into Minecraft, bound to a single host and passed on when that host dies near a player or villager. The curse advances through three stages: flies and dust appear first, with occasional cockroaches and maggots; worms and centipedes join in the second stage, which slows the host; and the final stage adds rats and spiders while inflicting slowness, weakness, and mining fatigue. The spawned vermin target the host within 20 blocks, and the infestation can continue as the effect transfers to the nearest player or villager after a host dies. The SCP-027 host can be found in caves, where approaching within three blocks triggers a frightening sound and a sudden movement before the host dies and spreads the effect to the approaching player.
