    Silent's Pets adds craftable animal companions that can fight alongside you: gather Raw Pet Essence by killing creatures, craft the summon for the pet you want, and use it to create that pet. Its pets include cows that can be milked, sheep that can be sheared, hard-hitting pigs, fast but fragile chickens, mooshrooms that provide mushroom stew, and cats and dogs that fight and can wear armor. Pets behave broadly like tamed wolves; you can tell them to stay or follow, equip them with a helmet for armor, and rely on slow health regeneration if they survive an injury. The Pet Wand can inspect or remove pet armor, toggle pet sounds, or carry a pet as an item, while the reusable Name Plate renames pets, other mobs, and items. A pet that dies has a chance to drop a replacement Pet Summon.
