Adds simple blood particles.
59 of the 71 points that apply = 83 out of 100.
Simple Blood adds pixel-art blood effects to Minecraft as a client-side visual mod, so its effects run on your computer rather than requiring the server to have the mod. Hits spray blood away from the wound toward the attacker, with distinct effects such as sword streaks, axe splashes, mace craters and arrows punching through. Blood splats onto block surfaces, spreads, runs down walls and around edges, pools below, drips from structures, and gradually dries into a darker, eroding film. It can leave footprints from entities that walk through fresh blood, while landing sounds and squelching footsteps add audio feedback; rain washes blood away, and water disperses it into a fading cloud. Blood appearance varies by mob: slimes bleed green, endermen purple, and skeletons crumble into bone dust, with additional particle kinds including liquid, debris, ember and powder. The settings provide live previews, presets and controls for blood amount, particle limits, and per-mob colour and effect type, including modded mobs. Players can choose a blood colour and share it through their Minecraft skin so other players using Simple Blood can see it, including on servers without the mod installed. With Physics Mod, ragdolls continue bleeding and leave a splat where they land.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
Sends unknown data
Sent to api.minecraftservices.com.
We found this in its code, read without running it.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code
The author declares AI code on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
Modpacks that include Simple Blood in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 8 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 7 points.
