About
Sniff's Weapons expands Minecraft’s combat options with weapons that have distinct abilities and effects rather than simple tier upgrades. Its great sword deals more damage than a normal sword, has a wider sweep that can apply fire damage with Fire Aspect, and launches an opponent with a critical shift attack; the great axe deals more damage than a normal axe and sends a shockwave through nearby mobs on a critical hit. The great pickaxe can mine and briefly block, with longer blocks causing a longer cooldown and critical hits slamming enemies to the ground, while the great bow deals greater ranged damage and shoots farther than a normal bow but takes longer to draw; it can use tipped arrows. Ruined Nether portals, End cities, armorer’s chests, and bastions can contain binding string, great swords, great axes, surcoats, and helms. Surcoats and helms can be dyed and come in nearly all material variants, and the helms’ feathers move rapidly in rain; piglins may also spawn equipped with the new gear.
